Standing rules for the 'You Sank My Battleship' event

A Purifier will run this event, do not confuse players by asking for modifications to the event.

In this new 2.25 release the Destructible Battleships have now been greatly upgraded and are formidable opponents.
Prizes have been increased since more ordinance will be required. Round winners will now get $300 million, Shamers will get $150 million.

Because the bases are now DEADLY, only ships with CD's are allowed. No more Marus, for instance. They will be totally worthless.
Fighters with CD's are allowed as they can disrupt incoming Battleships.

Here is how it will all go down:

1) All players will be divided into two teams. Please have your ship there BEFORE the event so it is not delayed with beaming players there.
2) These teams should group into their own private chats.
3) Each team should quickly decide who will attack the other base and who will defend yours.
4) Once grouped, the Purifier will give you your base assignement and you can move to it to DEFEND it.
5) Do NOT shoot this base as it is yours to defend! Stay 5k from it as it will shoot you too.
6) Because Battleships take so long to get up to cruise speed, these ships are allowed to start in cruise circling your base, just stay 5k from it.
7) Once everyone is in position the Purifier will then announce 3,2,1 go and you can start.
8) Pay attention to the Bases in Play so you don't attack the wrong one. Round One will be bases 1 and 2, Round two will be bases 3 and 4.
9) If you are killed during the round you may immediately respawn and resume your role until the round is over.
10) The Purifiers watching the bases may announce which base is taking damage first (but this may not always be the base destroyed first).
11) It will be announced when a base is destroyed. At this point the fighting should stop and you should return to the planet for restocking and instructions.
12) Payouts will be done after the final round, usually during the free-for-all that always follows.
