I finally found a solution to my super slow Internet (aka dialup speeds). I found an antenna/cellular modem that connects via Ethernet cable to my router, I placed the device 400 ft from my house on top of the mountain which is about 45 ft higher elevation than my house. Now instead of my normal 1.5Mbit speed I am getting 28 Mbit speed. I am very excited to finally be a broadband user from the boonies. I found the device on ebay; LTE 3g/4g Radio with integrated dual band Antenna for fixed wireless. My T Mobile SIM card works in this device.

Now we all know why those Aliens did send that 'Space Needle' that was recently sighted. They were interested in those new and strange signals they suddenly received ... Image

Yes I did (Ethernet cable); including 4 hours yesterday of digging a trench to bury the cable (thanks to the invention of the ditch witch). I'm so sore that I can only move my typing fingers but it was so worth it after 7.5 years of sucky internet.

Holy Cow! Now that's what I call desperate for internet. :D

That cable is not cheap and 400' of it must have cost a lot.

A similar approach to what I'm facing still. I've got the equipment reserved (2 dual band booster units, one for low frequency and one for higher) to cover the entire range my service uses. I merely need to get them outside once purchased. I've hesitated to purchase them on the idea that we'd be moving back to civilization (lol) sooner or later, but going on 3 years of this crap is getting tiresome fast. I can either fly, or fight... but not both. 2 bars of signal indoors, 5 outside, even with brand new more advanced cell phones. Still, you took away my 1 and only real advantage to beat you moon, now I'm going to have to knock my rust off AND up my game when I get back :)
