I made flares in Freelancer, generally used to light up dark areas. But mine stuck to ships as well, Ant had me lit up like a Christmas tree once while I sat still. No damage on those. They were very slow firing making it hard to hit a moving ship. And don't forget a fecal missile, splattering a bro... |

Hehe. But the recoil from such a mighty weapon would damage his own ship 50% with each shot.
Ant and I would love to have fast firing flares that stick to the windshield and do gradual damage!

It would be cool for a player to own (even build) their personal base. My hope would be that this base could not be attacked or damaged by other players (because for sure 4 players would gang up to destroy any base you could make). Or perhaps you could build inside of a 'cloud' and be invisible to s... |

I like the name ;) A cool feature would be a rotating visual of the ship as you place the desired turrets and missiles. Freelancer used a 'trick' to pack things in, one which became a modelers nightmare. They shrank everything to about a tenth size. So when you built something complicated, like a new ship model, then shrank it to fit, many vertices that were 5 units apart are now occupying the same space leading to e... |

Woot! I hate the gigantic tradelanes next to tiny planets. The original planet docking rings were ridiculous (which is why I removed them). How much can you pack into a system without glitches? If you can fit 50 planets and 50 bases maybe no need for multiple systems? Or, like many other games, just... |
