sounded good goul but glasses made no change- everything is a double image -1 red -1 green tried to checked win 8 comp with win 7- seems same all the rest of win 10 is awesome
and freelancer works- just eye boggling to keep focus

yup, thats basically a full 3D image you see there, you need those green-blue (or whatnot) 3D glasses to see right

probably a setting to change in FL or in the graphic pilot

lol- yup may be all of the above - but tv 3d glasses made no difference and so far cannot find such a setting- been told flancer does not work in win 10 but that's crap- works fine on other comp and all other functions work ok in this- just the video junk

think I found a resolution - FL does not recognize 3d card- usually np but somehow win 10 added conflict - found instructions to add my card name and id # to the flancer data text file- except inst did not go into detail on how to bypass read only setting to add my card to list
writer of solution assumed anyone doing this would know what they were up to lol
tried removing read only button in profile but still could not make the change-

right click the file
go to properties
uncheck the read only checkbox

did that Goul- also deactivated mod and removed read only in profile keep getting access denied when I tried to save- still fumbling around :)

are you sure to edit the file when FL is NOT running, because if try to edit it while FL is running, it will fail due to file sharing issues

yup- removed mod,mod manager and tried with only freelancer(not running) access not authorized when trying to save changes
how ever I am beginning to wonder if the flconfigdatabase.txt can actually let FL use my card or if adding card indo to list just make the pop up stop telling me FL cant find my card ???

is strange that FL worked just fine with win 8- same 3d card (always popped up with card not recognized-still worked)
shut of fl-loaded win 10 -started FL and double image was there and won't go :(

take a peek in FL exe flconfigdatabase.txt see if u think adding my card ID there would change anything
- feel like I'm wasting time trying to change it

I have been struggling all weekend to make Freelancer properly run on Windows 10. Yes I can get it to run but the screen is jittery and there are delays in the missile firing and regens. I tried all compatibility modes, running as administrator, adding my video card to flconfigdatabase.txt, and used a 3rd party program (Bandicam) to vsync my framerate from 180 back to 60fps. Nothing gives me the smooth experience that Win7 (and a few compatibility modes in Win8) do. So for now I am going back to my older Win7 machine for Freelancer only. If others find a fix to this problem please post it and let me know.

I tried dwn's suggestion and moved flconfigdatabase file to a temp - it went with no conflict- -except file was half the size there- looked in it most of data was not present
no file left in fl exe where did it go ? was able to edit and save config in temp and moved it back to fl exe folder -file was doubled in size- my edit change was not there fl still double image also
the post that led me to this vcard edit mentioned that someone had added a pack of update cards to freelancer program - this seems to be what disappears when I move file
saving any changes inside exe folder always ends with access denied even with no mod ,no mod manager and fl not running
lol still puzzled hmm! maybe I am the puzzle? many would agree :)
