A new version of vent is available, I choose not to install and now get the message synchronising when launched. Then nothing, is their a problem on your side of the pond. Well thats a political question lol.

HMM, rebooted router, modem and dedi. Still not working. I tried the newer 3.1 on my playing machine, still not connecting.
I called Soupman and he will look at it tomorrow. No ventrilo for Madness tonight I guess...

server is working you need the new 3.1.0 ver of vent client http://www.ventrilo.com/download.phpserver name is RIP Vent create a user name here is the host name change.typefrag.com port is 8150 password is uvrocks1

Hmm, double check that you upgraded to the 3.1.0 version and have the correct port as listed above. Everyone else is online...
