That looks just awesome! My wife & I are both outdoors Lovers. (hmm ... both ways you take it)

Many years ago we joined a canoe building club in Edmonton & built ourselves a 16' river canoe out of fibreglass. They had the molds & knew how & we learned & put up$200.

We did all the labour as they taught including the woodwork for the rails & seats etc. I still have that canoe & this picture of yours gives me some motivation to get it cleaned up & back into service after all the 'children years'. I grew up doing outdoors stuff & my wife took it at universirt & became an instructor (level 2 white water).

I hope to have some pics for you soon as the ice is gone.

OJ

Sounds neat OJ ! This is my "transportation of choice" -note front and rear CARGO hatches properly secured and of course the Old Fort William fur TRADING post in background (old voyageour river trade route ) - and no - I was NOT working that area when it was active ! :)

Karra_Minx 15~
Sure sign of spring!! - Coast guard laying danger marker bouys on reef just past the islands out from my home.
U can stand on Table Rock with rubber boots and not get wet-fish 90 feet deep with normal rod. Sheer cliff straight down.Catch lake trout.
Freaks people out if u drop someone there before daylight-standing "on the water" a mile from shore 15~
Of course if the wind comes up the rollers go right over- not so much fun then.

So which lake or coast line do you LIVE by? I'm think it's one of the great lakes.

SHEESH Alpha Dog- of course we have coast gaurd ! This is as far north as Great Lakes shipping goes on Lake Superior !
If not for them, who would there be to keep southerner ships from piling up on the beach when they ran out of lake ? 15~ 15~ He He !
Besides we need someone to cut paths in the ice so we can get the downrigger lines in for trolling :)

KILKILLA- IF u like canoeing that much i wont post any of the shots from up the Nipigon River-island mazes-sheer cliffs -water like a mirror reflecting perfect image of trees and kayks in the water.......eagles taking fish from shallows ,nights with stars so clear.... home of the world record brook trout.........ahhhhhhhhhhh! think im gonna go sharpen some hooks and make sure all the gear is packed tight :)
Heck with teasing u-i wanna get back up there myself !
