Here in Martinique we are in lockdown for at least 15 days. Almost nobody in the streets, it's like everybody vanished over night

Only allowed to leave home for
>Groceries
>Tabac
>Medical stuff

All other reasons are forbidden and fined up to 150$ per person. Helicopters are flying in intervals over my neighbourhood to make sure people respect the orders and cops pop up fast to see why people brave an exit...

As for me, March 27 I was supposed to get a container at home for my moving to France, no clue what is going to happen, nobody has answers to if the container will be posted at my home on this date

April 8 I was supposed to fly to France, I have no idea if I will be able to, the goverement is not clear about this, the air line does not respond to calls, mails, whatsapp nor any other means of contact even on social media...

So far we have food, alcool, smokes, internet and TV at home. And no bloody clue when I will be able to have a beer at the pub as they including restaurants etc are closed, anything non vital is shut down...

Let me hear from you and where you live and how you are holding out.

In my life I have never seen anything similar, the president Macron used teh word "war" 6 times during his TV speach yesterday, this sure looks like war here...

Day 4 of lockdown

The weather is nice, some rain though, I see the stars tonight.

People seem to respect the orders, more or less. Not allowed to go to the beach, forrest or rivers, staying at home is the best we can do. Got some drugs for my wife, shelfs are full even though there are no masks or hand cleaning solutions to desinfect hands n stuff...

Not bored yet, but did you know that a bag of rice contains 7865 grains of rice? But I wonder why the other bag contained 7879 grains, this is weird, I did not know that, did jew?

It's incredibly calm outside, no fuckers driving their loud bike on the streets, no annoyingly loud music or screaming coming from the beach just 50 yards away from my house.

Tomorrow police will start handing out fines for real to the people who drive or walk around without important reason and a signed paper to show and prove why they are in the streets. Fines can go as high as 150$ per person, goverment is speaking of fines of up to 500$ soon if people dont get their shit right... duh

hard on kids- schools closed - some till next September in most provinces and summer just on its way no friends to play with we are beginning to get some spread with Canadians returning from US where they were told NP no virus- all fake (just no testing done ) I doubt any country will be clear for a while- indications are this is beginning of "first wave" so we r hunkering down- lots of wood to cut :)china second wave starting as people returning home after being told its clear ah well we can vent on npc and each other in game ! take care all!

Day 5 of lockdown

Today I sat down in the couch to change from the computer. Noticed a nice looking woman sitting next to me, it seems she is my wife, we had a chat and gave rendezvous for this evening to have a drink together...

I start to think that this whole corona thing is a conspiracy !

How come that after 30 years I finally decided to move to another place, suddenly, there is that virus thing. A client told me a few weeks back that he will do anything in his power to stop me from moving so I can continue to fix his cars, this is just too suspicious to me, he for sure fucked something up to stop me from moving, I'm sure of it!

Today I got a n allowance to move anyway from local prefecture, half an hour later they start talking on TV that we will be totally locked down for 2 months instead of the 15 days we had till now... That client, I'm sure of it has spyware on my computer to know that I had that allowance, can't be otherwise...

It's a conspiracy I tell you!!!

Day 7 of lockdown

The past week I haven't done a fucking thing basically, wife was doing it all and all

Today she told me to get my lazy ass to do something else than gazing at my craputer screen... Had to take care of the garden, cut weeds and twigs; wow, this did a lot of good to move a bit and get me out of my lethargy, my goodness, spent about 3-4h in the garden, it's all trimmed and nice... wtf am I going to do tomorrow? nothing left to do in the garden, I used to hate cutting weed between two jobs, today for me it was like I was reborn !

Bummer though that the pubs are still closed, but I have a good stock of beer to last a few days

That client though, I'm sure he jynxed it for me... For sure a conspiracy...

Day 8 of lockdown

Since garden is cleaned, house is cleaned up tidy, and anything else there is to do, I watch TV..

Did you notice that the ONLY thing they talk about in the news is corona here and coroan there, absolutely NOTHING else !!

And I noticed that there is nothing else good to see, I have like 100 channels or more but there is almost no good movie to see, there are series, like thousands of them, but when you jump onto season 1 episode 529 (not kidding on 529), you don't understand a damn thing. And since veryone is at home internet is so overloaded that even youtube streaming is a pain where the sun don't shine...
